Photographer accused in Diaz photo flap

(July 15) A photographer who offered Cameron Diaz the opportunity to buy back topless pics and video she posed for 10 years ago found the police knocking at his door. Lawyers for Diaz say the actress never gave John Rutter permission to use the pictures and claim he's trying to extort money from her. Rutter claims he has a signed release. Meanwhile Larry Flynt's Hustler has reportedly offered $3.5 million for the pics.

Sex-sadist handyman sentenced to prison

(July 15) A retired upstate New York handyman who admitted keeping five women as sex slaves in an underground bunker behind his home was sentenced Tuesday to 18 years to life in prison. John Jamelske, 68, told authorities he began seeking out girls and women in 1988, after his wife became bedridden and couldn't satisfy his sexual urges. She died in 1999.

Price sues Alabama for $20 million

(July 15) Former Alabama football coach Mike Price has filed a $20 million lawsuit against the university, claiming he was wrongfully fired after allegations arose about his conduct at a golf outing in Florida. Price has also sued Sports Illustrated for publishing the article that got him fired; it detailed his alleged improper behavior at a topless bar and hotel in Pensacola, Florida.

Teacher suspended for emailing nude photos

(July 15) A former Toronto Catholic High School English teacher was barred from the classroom for seven months for emailing softcore nude photos to a 15-year-old male student.The pics were ultimately forwarded to nearly three dozen other young students in the community. "It is the stupidest thing I have ever done," said Mark Kannon, 35, after pleading guilty to a finding of professional misconduct.

Accused flasher's defense is tiny penis

(July 15) The attorney for a 47-year-old Pennsylvania locksmith says a woman who claims she saw his client's semi-erect penis sticking three inches past the bottom of his shorts after he installed a lock in her home is mistaken. "He's not that big," said attorney Gary Asteak. A doctor who measured defendant Robert M. Peters Sr. found his penis is only 1 inch long when flaccid and four inches when erect.

Phone prank leads to employee strip search

(July 15) Police in Panama City, Florida arrested a Winn-Dixie grocery store manager who forced a female employee to submit to a strip search on orders from a phone caller who identified himself as a police officer. James Marvin Pate, 36, took her clothing, forced her to pose in different positions and refused to give her clothing back for an extended time.
