Woman claims doc traded pain pills for sex

(December 26) A Georgia woman has filed a malpractice suit against a Chattanooga, Tennessee doctor who she claims gave her pain pills in exchange for a sexual relationship that led to an illegal Las Vegas marriage. Court records indicate the defendant, Dr. Larry D. Howard, was already married at the time.

Fondling prosecutor loses parental rights

(December 26) A Pennsylvania district attorney who stands accused of fondling a 10-year-old girl at a Hillary Duff concert has been prohibited from having contact with his own daughter. Mark Peter Pazuhanich, who is set to become a judge, was allegedly drunk when he was seen by a concert security guard tickling and then fondling the girl.

More charges filed against bar owner

(December 26) Prosecutors piled on more charges against Marcus B. Somerhalder, the Green Bay, Wisconsin bar owner who was accused earlier this month of videotaping himself as he sexually assaulted women he'd drugged. Some of the new charges are based on interviews with women seen in nude photographs seized from Somerhalder's apartment.

Sailor pleads guilty in email porn case

(December 26) A sailor who emailed sexually explicit photos of teen girls between San Diego, California and the USS Constellation pleaded guilty to felony charges, including lewd contact with a 15-year-old. Prosecutors said Wayne Van Craig and his co-defendant, Robert Quackenbush, had sexual contact with at least one high school girl before they deployed to the Persian Gulf in November 2002.

Man 'truth or dared' girls to do oral sex

(December 26) A 56-year-old Colorado man is facing criminal charges after a girl who was at his home for a sleepover told authorities he dared her and two others to perform oral sex on him during a game of Truth or Dare. Erik Bryce Lansteensen allegedly told the girls: "It's best if you learn it from me than from a teenage boy." According to the police report, Lansteensen subsequently undressed and performed oral sex on the girls.

Judge hammers escort service operator

(December 26) A Florida judge sentenced an escort service operator convicted of running a prostitution ring that employed underage girls to 60 years in prison--three times more than the state sought. Russell Neal, owner of Pleasuregirls, continued to maintain his innocence, claiming his ex-girlfriend had framed him to get control of the business.
