Fetish website operators sentenced

(December 21) A Georgia couple who were convicted of operating a fetish website that featured 'sexually explicit' videos of women defecating and urinating learned their fate last Friday. Michael J. Corbett was fined $30,000 and sentenced to 18 months in prison. His ex-wife, Sharon Bates, was sentenced to 13 months in prison and must pay a $10,000 fine.

Boutique owner accused of video peeping

(December 21) The owner of an upscale women's boutique in Voorhees, New Jersey has been charged with harassment and wiretapping for allegedly videotaping customers as they tried on clothing in a dressing room. Police reportedly confiscated videos that showed over 60 women who'd been secretly taped by Eli Arochas through a hole in the wall.

'Oral' surgeon hit with sodomy rap

(December 21) A Connecticut doctor with a Bronx practice was arrested for alleged sodomy after a patient claimed the physician performed oral sex on him during an examination. The patient admitted he became aroused while Dr. Brian Shaw, 41, was examining his genitals. Shaw was acquitted of a similar crime in January 2002, said law-enforcement sources.

Singapore MP admits nude photo hobby

(December 21) Singapore Parliament member Steve Chia may have made matters worse for himself when he appeared at a news conference to address rumors his wife had gone to police after finding nude photos he'd taken of their Indonesian maid. Chia revealed his marriage was in trouble, confessed to having affairs and admitted he likes to take nude photos of women.

Sex charges dropped against PA couple

(December 21) A Pennsylvania couple accused of operating a teen party house were cleared on charges of statutory sexual assault, criminal solicitation or deviate sexual intercourse when teen girls put on the stand by prosecutors failed to provide convincing testimony. Mark Reever and his wife, Melissa, still face 11 counts each of corruption of minors and selling or furnishing alcohol to minors.
