It helped that Nantawat Naovasaisri, 34, was caught on tape trying to arrange the murder with another FBI agent who was posing as a hitman.

Woman posted nude teen pics in net dupe

(December 18) A West Haven, Connecticut woman faces child pornography charges after allegedly posting pornographic photos of a young relative on the Internet in what authorities believe was a bizarre scheme to meet men. Police say Debra DeMartin, 37, took the photos of her 14-year-old female relative earlier this year, then posted them in a chatroom as pics of herself.

Dodge drops Lingerie Bowl sponsorship

(December 18) After complaints from women's groups and some dealers, Dodge has withdrawn its sponsorship of the Lingerie Bowl, a pay-per-view event with women playing football in their underwear during halftime of the Super Bowl. But the game will go on, said event spokeswoman Rebecca Harris, with two teams of female lingerie models wearing sports bras and shorts.

Playboy artifacts net $2.7 million

(December 18) Playboy magazine showed it still has plenty of appeal at age 50 after it reeled in more than $2.7 million in an auction of some 300 artifacts from its archives, including works by artists and writers that have appeared in the magazine. Hef's personal 1956 "little black book" of phone numbers and contacts sold for $9,560.

Cops not amused by store streaker

(December 18) Alabama convenience store owner Lisa Hankins said her husband just laughed when a mysterious streaker turned up on a 25-degree day. Cops weren't so amused. "If it's a lady in the store the first thing she's going to think is the possibility of being raped," said police Captain B.J. Walker.

Chinese orgy organizers get life sentence

(December 17) Two accused organizers of an orgy between Japanese tourists and Chinese prostitutes last September at the Zhuhai International Convention Center Hotel were sentenced to life in prison by a Chinese court. Twelve other people were sentenced to between two and 15 years in jail for "organizing prostitution" or "assisting the organization of prostitution."
