Lawsuit: Actor's dog bit writer's penis

(December 3) Hollywood screenwriter Michael Kerner claims he suffered "deep lacerations, nerve damage, loss of physical sensation, psychological harm and mental distress" when a 170 lb. mastiff owned by action star Vin Diesel lunged at him and clamped down on his crotch. Kerner received "three stitches in his penis and two in his scrotum." He's suing for $8 million.

Canadian inspectors 'obsessed' with porn

(December 3) Canadian government inspectors appear to be obsessed with inspecting adult video stores while ignoring a flood of consumer complaints about collection agencies, auto and repair shops, says the annual report from Ontario's provincial auditor. Agents from the Ministry of Consumer and Business Services carried out almost 1,600 inspections of video retail stores despite receiving just eight complaints.

R. Kelly lawyers jockey for dismissal

(December 3) Attorneys defending R&B star R. Kelly against child pornography charges filed a host of motions on Monday, including one that suggests the alleged victim is older than authorities contend. They also attacked the validity of a law that allows a 17-year-old to have sex but makes it illegal to videotape that act.
