Porn foe busted on prostitution charge

(November 24) A vice chairman of a Louisville, Kentucky anti-pornography group was arrested Saturday night on a prostitution charge. Police took John W. Riddle, 65, into custody after seeing him in a car with a "known prostitute." He reportedly had a bottle of Viagra in his possession at the time of his arrest.

Burger King to allow breast-feeding

(November 24) Fast-food giant Burger King attempted to head off a nation-wide "nurse-in" by announcing a new policy that allows women to breast-feed their children in its restaurants. The chain became a target of indignant Utah mothers earlier this month after an employee asked a nursing mother to either go into the bathroom or leave the restaurant.

Company takes down controversial billboard

(November 24) Following complaints from parents, Virgin Mobile has taken down a billboard located near an elementary school in Marietta, Georgia that showed a nude woman covered only with a cell phone and the advertising slogan "Virgin Mobile has nothing to hide." The company said it hadn't realized the school was so close by.

Pierced penis man off the hook

(November 24) In Italy, a man who showed his newly pierced penis to residents at the old folks' home where he worked will not be prosecuted. Local authorities who took the complaint from the man's bosses said it's not illegal to show off a genital piercing in a private place to grown adults.
