Man sought for flashing sex photos

(July 24) Phoenix, Arizona police are searching for a man who placed snapshots of his genitals and sexually explicit letters atop women's cars parked outside a grocery store. Investigators believe the assailant approached one of the women in the parking lot, flashed an explicit photograph and followed her home in his car when she fled.

Conflict over loo leads transsexuals to sue

(July 24) Five transsexuals are suing a British pub manager who threw them out after one of the group used the ladies' room. Landlord John Gawthorp says he asked the group to leave after some women threatened to beat the sex-swappers if they used the women's toilet. "I considered it my duty to stop that (from) happening," said Gawthorp.

Brothel plan for Olympic city draws criticism

(July 24) 'Gender equality' ministers from seven Nordic and Baltic nations expressed indignation Wednesday over plans by Greece to increase the number of brothel permits during the 2004 Olympics in Athens. "This will lead to more women being exploited and abused,'' said a letter signed by Cabinet ministers from Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
