I was a pretty big sex maniac and basically wanted to have sex several times a day, every single day. Now since I started the NuvaRing, I've found that I have absolutely no sex drive. My partner is starting to worry that I am actually cheating on him, which I'm not, or that I am not attracted to him, which I am...it has just completely taken my desire to have sex away completely....and I mean to the point where he has to beg me for sex and MAYBE get it once a week. I'm feeling really, really bad about this, but I don't know what to do short of stopping this.

Nuvaring sounds new to me. Some of my friends used to talk about this vaginal ring for birth control. But I don't have any idea how it gives pleasure during sex. I used to have sex in a natural way.

You should probably talk to the doctor who gave you the prescription and tell him or her about the side effects. Maybe you can get one with a lower hormone level that won't affect you so badly. Good luck.
