So one told me a while ago that abortions can mess up your body and cause a numerous amounts of problems with your insides?

An abortion done by anyone who isn't trained to do one can cause you all kinds of exciting and potentially deadly complications, but a legal abortion performed by a trained medical team isn't harmful. However, anyone who is using abortion for birth control should maybe look at contraceptives or sterilization.
