I remember back in the 1980's when the adult services first started appearing on the landscape. When did they first make an appearance? Was it the 1980's or was it earlier?

Phone sex has been happening since the telephone was invented. In the early days like the first world war is when it started socially. Wives at home wanted to contact their husband at war but instead talked to guys in the military that would tell the wives all is ok with their husband and then talked some more sexually.
