A guy I've known since college, who's currently not with any one person, confided in me that a girl he was seeing asked him to shave his crotch. He told me she's given him amazing oral sex since then, and that their intercourse is apparently heightened for her.

Girls are asking such thing because they want to see clearly the assets of guys. Pubic hairs are disturbing during webcam sex or photo sharing.
