There's nothing wrong with it simply because your jerk boyfriend deserves to be cheated. I just wondered what's special in him that makes you stay longer in jerk relationship.

Wouldn't it be better to kick s**thead to the curb first and get him out of your life? Because if you want a serious relationship with him, someday you'll feel bad about cheating and then you'll have to tell him, and then it'll all spiral downhill. (speaking from experience) Sex is fun and all, but sometimes getting laid isn't worth it if it causes you more grief in the long run.

I don't know how to describe my current relationship. We're very good friends, occasionally have sex, and spend a LOT of time together. We're both old enough not to want to run around looking for sexual partners and we're both experienced and adventurous enough to experiment with new stuff to please each other. He keeps me happy in bed, and there's no one else around here that I want to be with.

Thanks, Aima. I've asked him to come away with me for a weekend in May. I have to go to a conference for my work and it's being held at a resort. If I get a single room, my "spouse" can stay for free, so he can come along and only have to pay for his meals. It would be nice to get away together, even if I have workshops all day. We'll have the nights together and that's part of the fun!
